Tag As FavoriteComment		This painting was for Sifu Brinkman in the Olympia House of Kung Fu, in exchange for a summer of lessons. It hangs in the kwoon (training hall) last time I checked.

22' by 22', black and white acrylic on thin tea-dyed muslin. The shading was done by using a lot of water and letting the paint bleed out into the fabric.

This looks like something that SHOULD be hanging in a place of martial arts training. Acrylics on fabric have a way of seeming to be lifted from the base, and having it all in black and white makes it looks so classic. Allll those scales! 0_o *very impressed*All those scales...I see them in my dreams...they're coming for me...dear Bast, no! NO! Make the hurting stop!
