A'Deline | Loading...Hmmm...stylization of any kind draws me like a magnet, so I had to see this...unfortunately, she does not have facial features, which may contribute to her already obvious grace and beauty...wood as an elemental, I assume? There seems a distinctly woody grain to the line formation here...mayhap enhance the hand/fingers somewhat, to maintain proportion with the face? One has noticed somewhere along the way that one's hands are similar in size to ones face, or only slightly smaller...Kudos... | |

| 3 Jan 2001 | Melissa | Loading...This is one of my favorites, mostly because it is so different from anything else here, but also because it really captures the essence (as I know it) of your world and it is beautiful. (by the way, I LOVE that she has no facial features, very mysterious...) | |
| 15 Jan 2001 | Alexandra Morris | Loading...I love your use of the thick-taperred lines on this, and then that it's left in stark b/w.... It emphasizes it's beauty, and the simplicity in it's intricacy (like the lack facial features, which i think would be too much detail for something like this) is stunning... Makes you want to stare at it for hours as your eyes rove over and around the lines again and again, each repitition only increasing your awe at CalentheYou echoe my own sentiments on this. I deliberately chose not to include facial features, because it would break up the flow of the picture. I don't think I could draw a face that would do anything but detract from the rest of the picture. Hmmm...on a different note, it's rather interesting that this is the most commented on picture in my gallery. Especially when you consider that it took the shortest time and was drawn in the middle of history class! | |

| 12 Mar 2004 | Muwhahaha | Loading...Is this a picture of me? I find that very insulting that you dared to take my beautiful face and draw it! FOR SHAME! Just kidding! I love the way you did the hair on this particular drawing : In my opinion, it looks as though she is symbolizing power, yet, at the same time, she is delicate. Or so it seems *the woman kills her* | |
