The original picture is 1000x1500 pixels big so I had to scale it down to an allowed size. I made it in Adobe Photoshop with a Wacom tablet in case some are wondering:).

BTW: pay close attention to the two feathers on the front part of the head... It's moderator's choice feathers;). That's where they are located on a phoenix.

I love the way it glows!!! so bright, congrats on a phoenix bird thing their feathers are horrible (at least for me they take me for ever! i prefer cats, dragons, and unicorns)

How does it fly with those tail-feathers? Too heavy I think.

I was wondering, could you possibly make a painting of what you think a phoenix feather would look like? I wanted to get a tattoo of one, and I can't find anything that looks good other than your painting of the phoenix above.

Very nice! What is it perched on?

My mouth remained open for roughly half a minute after seeing this.

This is great. I mean the contrast of the backround and the bird is magnificent.

Any link from where to download the original 1000x1500-pixel picture? I’d just LOVE to have this detailed.

Obviously one of the best Phoenixes I’ve seen so far.

Ah, so that’s where those pretty, glowing feathers come from! I must say I feel most honored to have some of my pictures decorated with a feather from such a magnificent being. 2

I love the pose of the phoenix, it looks so proud and strong. The red and yellow colours also look great. I wouldn’t mind seeing this creature in real life!
