	The tanausian mega insect can reach a body wheight of 6 ton, they are massive herbivorous creatures that lives in herds which helps them protect themselves against the bigger predators of their homeworld. I designed it after a spider and the behind is inspired by a grashopper (didn't think it would turn out so elephant like)

20 Jun 2006	Anne Wipf	Loading... A grasshopper ? How did you obtain this result ? Very nice drawing, nevertheless. Kent Christian Jensen replies: "well its only the behind/tail part thats more or less perfectly identical to some grashopper "tails" behinds, whatever its called hehe. And about how I obtained this result, let me explain. First I saw a picture (closeup) of some giant spiders "face", which inspired me to try and make some giant insect monster, then while sketching I found reference material of other insects and one little grashopper had some nice details I fittet into the sketch especially its behind. SO after a while this creature emerged. and viola! A giant insect monster of coolness.Anyway! im very glad you like it and thnx alot for your comment."

28 Jan 2007	Graydon Hayes	Loading... Although normally large mammals have always been my favourite, lately giant insect-like creatures have captured my imagination. I love the way it has Half Claw-legs at the front obviously inspired by the grasshopper. Gret Picture!
