A ruthless carnivore, first of hopefully many:)

I think ive managed to make a love/hate creature, the kind you either love or hate.

Theres something about it that wins me over to loveing it, Maybe its the clumsy brute thing about it? or the monster features incorporated, I dont know, I just think it rocks.

These creatures are found hunting on the trovian swamplands, Trovia is a lush planet with wast swamp areas with large fields of tall plants named trovian grass, because of this grass the Trogel beast had evolved taller so that it could get a better wiew and follow prey by following the stirring grass as prey tries to flee.

Trogel beasts also use smell and chemical receptors to locate prey.

It kills it's prey with it's 3 tentacles, violently pulling the prey from eachother and then eating it before other carnivores get there.

well I definately love this monster. It's really well proportioned, especially considering he's made up of so many strange parts! I think my reason for finding him so endearing is I keep tarantulas and he's got the most beautiful spider-like eyes.

Looks like a cross from 2 diffrent video games.

Somewhere between half life 2 and some unreal turnament monster.

When I saw his tentacle-arms I wanted to hug them! They look so cuddly! I would love this monster if he was nice, but I definitely wouldn't want to be around a mean one!

A friend of mine got all sorts of reptiles and tarantulas. I see a lot of your work is based and or inspired by them. Your work is absolutely terrific! but I don't really think this crit looks carnivore-ish, maybe it's because of those tentacles on the back. It still looks great!

23 Kent Jensen replies: "  Well the teeth makes him look carnivorish to me, but I suppose its you definition of carnivore that you thought about.
Anyway the only thing about this creature that was designed after something found on a real animal was the T-rex arms that I changed so they didn't look that much like T-rex arms. Everything else was imagination2.anyway thnx for your comment. Glad you like it2."
