Sarkon
The second council race, Sarkons has been members of the galactic community nearly since its foundation. The Sarkon is a young species when compared to the Progans, but they developed much faster. Sarkons have a hyperactive metabolism – they think fast, talk fast, and move fast. To Sarkons, many other species seem slow and dull-witted. Unfortunately their metabolic speed leaves them with a relatively short lifespan.
The Sarkons are known for their superior intellect, their advanced technology, and their observational capabilities as well as their non-linear thinking. This manifests as an innate aptitude for scientific research and espionage. They constantly experiment and invent, and it is generally accepted that they always know more than they tell.
In principle, the Sarkon military rely on their intelligence gathering and superior technology rather than brute force and numbers. While the Sarkon are capable of defending themselves against most threats they also realize that a number of the races in known space are stronger, financially as well as militarily, and as a point of survival the Sarkon have cultivated strong alliances.
Personality – Sarkons tend to be curious, and peaceful, but lack common concepts such as romantic love and sexual attraction.
Most Sarkons prefer science over religion, often relying on facts rather than faith.
Physical Description – Sarkons have tall, elongated bodies well suited for their high metabolism, with long bone appendages protruding from their shoulders and elbows. Their skin varies in shades of grey, blue and green. Sarkons reach maturity about the age of 12 and rarely lives beyond 60.

Career – the most common backgrounds among Sarkons include Academic, Creative, and Technician, although some come from different backgrounds, like Investigative or Government. Because of their extraordinary intellect and their non-linear thinking, many Sarkons pursue scientific careers, but their observational abilities also make them good spies. Sarkons are typically found in classes like the Pointman or Scientist. Psychics are a rarity among the Sarkon, and the few who exhibit such talents always follow the Telepathic Discipline.
