Your shading is really good, though I noticed it tends to be a bit "fuzzy" at times,like you were doing it in a hurry. Also, it would be nice to see some backgrounds. Though i tend not to do them either, they take so much more time, but pieces with backgrounds just have that "completed" look and feel to them. Great ideas, love your poses! I think the reason that it's fuzzy, is when I drew it, the scanner didn't pick up the entire picture, so I had to tangle with it in paint (I don't have photoshop) so that might be why. But - I'm learning to make them darker to stand out more. Yeah - Backgrounds arent my forte. As you said, I think they're time consuming. but since the background does add something to the picture, I might try adding some more.
