"goddess of butterflies" by Pille Heero

I love all the butterflies! Especially how some are black and white, others gray, and even others pinkish. It makes her look even more like a goddess.
And even though the human anatomy is slightly off- it is still very nice and a visible jump in skill from what I have seen. Did you use a model? Those always are useful, even if it is just a picture. Very beautiful.

you say that you were barely learning how to draw the human body??? I can hardly believe that! In this pic you have caught some precise structures of the shoulders and back. and the shading is wonderfully done....and your butterfly work is so very splendid. Man i wish i could draw butterflies that well.

wow. I'm very picky with butterflies. I hate faeries and winged creatures, because the wings have to be just right to 'fit' the meaning of the beast. By not giving her wings, it defines this person to be graceful and beautiful. I love all the butterflies that are in this drawing. Awesome job.
