"migration of flying fish" by Pille Heero

These are flying fishes. They are migrating to south, because they tend to live in lakes, which froze in winter, but flying-fishes like to jump to water. In winter they will hurt their heads if they try to jump into frozen water. So they fly to south. This is a picture of this migrating.

but on springtime they´ll be the first ones to return!

This is an huge oil painting (100 cm x 72 cm). Of course I can not scan a picture big like that. So this image is taked with a camera, that explains also some little differences. Actually the roofs are red (belive me).

And i always thought that the lantern is not that askew, but it may come of that, that the painting on wall is not stright as well...
