*Blinks* Hi! You visited my li'l treehouse! Welcome, welcome! Come in, sit down, make your self at home, all those niceties.
Hi then. As you can see above *points* I'm Karen, an 18-yr-old Canadian and in my first year of a BSc in biology. I'm also Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah - Green because, 9 years and $90 000 or so down the road, I'll hopefully end up with an MD, which would put me in Yellow, but I'm also kind of political and have a rather Blue tendency to leap into causes, so if you mix blue and yellow, I come out green. Which is great, cause Greens have fun, too ;-D
If you're still with me, shoo! Go look at the piccies! Leave lots and lots and lots of comments, and if you have a place in Elfwood I'll come visit you, too. Any comments are good, even flames (though if you flame I'll probably reply in kind), but please be gentle; I've only been drawing seriously for about 5 months now.
Update - 18/01/03 - A few new things added. I've taken an odd fancy to sketching in pencil crayon, so lots of portraits in colour (actually, looking around, I have a rather disproportionate number of portrait-style things; gotta get on that) I also seem to have sorted out some way of drawing human (and elvish) faces that works ok. Oh, and the fanart link should be working soon *hopes*

I really love your stuff, you got really good potential and your good in facial structure. I hope you will continue to devellop your skill even if your studies will take a lot of your spare time . Can I ask at wich university you go? Karen E. Tucker replies: "Quebecer? Sorry, but no.....Though I've greatly enjoyed the parts of Quebec I've seen while visiting, I've never lived there...I'm currently at Dalhousie Uni. in Halifax. Thanks for your kind comments, Nancy. *Scoots off to see your gallery*" | |
| 19 Mar 2003 | Jason K. Kuzmak | Loading...DO'H! Sorry to bother you, i didnt notice you read the "Wheel of Time" the first time. Well i gotta add a comment on that. A great series indeed. I am on book eight. Perrin is my favorite character cause he's got the blacksmithing skills =D Karen E. Tucker replies: "Yup, yup, WoT freak would be me! I'm still working my way through book 10 - sad, since I've had it since the day after it came out. Of the guys, I'd have to say Perrin or Lan is definitely my favourite; they're both really awesome! 'Tis indeed a great series" | |
| 19 Mar 2003 | Jason K. Kuzmak | Loading...Im glad you didn't think that picture looked like gandalf. I would prefer your story to mine, but im only going by what people have said. it didnt remind me of gandalf... Some nice art here, but shame on you for drawing on notebook paper. hehehe. you should get some blank and just keep it in your notebook instead. I mean, what if your drawing turns out really good, and its on lined? Karen E. Tucker replies: "Hehe, *is shamed* I've never done anything but doodles on lined paper (margins of notes and such), and, since Christmas or so i've been carrying whatever I'm working on at the moment around with me, so even my doodles are decreasing - I promise, really!" | |
