I have a hard time believing you don't know what that story is, as there are very deliberate aspects in the painting that indicate otherwise. For instance, I have a hard time imagining you put that floating guy behind him just because you felt like it. Likewise, for some reason I don't think that necklace around his arm is an indeliberate touch. Am I bugging you? Sorry, I don't meant to be. ^_^' I just really like this picture. It's got a lot of intensity in it, from the way he's positioned to the way his cloak flows to the lightningish background to the color choices. Kudos for a great piece, whether it contains symbolism/narrative or no. Terhi Lehkonen replies: "Well, if you mean it that way, yes, there is something resembling a scene behind it. The characters are actual characters and thus there's already a story. And yes, the trinket is not there because I thought it was funny. But most of the image is a whim I don't know about; the mirrors, the fog, his weird looks and missing clothes. I usually write my stories somehow reversibly; I see things in my mind and then try to put them into words.
And no, you're not bugging me. Sorry, I have mood swings quite often and I am rather bulky with my written/spoken expression at those times. I do always appreciate your comments, I just like to start a debate. XD Thanks!"

I think you're just ducking out of writing a long, interesting discription. Eh? eh? Either that, or you're leaving it up to the viewer, which is an admirable thing to do. The guy behind him reminds me of L from the anime Death Note. Sorry, I've got Death Note on the brain lately. Terhi Lehkonen replies: "Well, I don't need to duck writing long, interesting descriptions. I was born with the inability. And to double my defense, no, it really doesn't have anything deep behind it. Art doesn't always have to be all mighty and spiritual, this was just for fun. Hm, haven't heard of Death Note. Thanks."
