I'm never crossing that line // Leaving this world behind // I will stay on my own // On this blood-stained throne

Pain of Salvation, Iter Impius 4:05-4:20. I kept listening to that all through this. Yes, I looped 15 seconds over and over for hours. Actually, I'm still looping it.

If you want proof why this is sci-fi / fantasy / something in between, keep reading. Otherwise, please skip.

OK, so. I have to explain some terms. Dreamworld is a fantasy world I made up that echoes one's thoughts and beliefs and sometimes abides to them. So your reality in the Dreamworld at least partially depends on your self-image and mood. The Dreamworld also isn't bound to reality in any way and you can't be sure about anything but I won't get into that right now. The Dreamworld is made of infinite units called dreams. Dreamwalking means traveling from one dream to another and is mostly a controlled method of altering reality. Now, the protagonist and antihero of the actual story is, oo-lala, dreamwalking here. He is distorting his reality which can be seen from the change of colors towards where he is walking. No, it's not a natural sunset. It's not a sunset at all. I don't know what it is. Last-ly, his pale face is actually an artistic glitch of mine, but I can drag it into the story and say he's made an invisible light bulb hover slightly above his face or something.

In case you notice the barely visible photo, yes, I took it myself.

This is really beautiful... In a dark way. The sky is wonderfully done, and I love the insects (what are they really?).
The character is very interesting too. Makes me really want to now the whole story behind.
All in all, just awesome work!!!

:-) Terhi Lehkonen replies: "Hehe, they are birds. I hope I manage to write the story properly sometime so I can actually start telling it. Thank you! ^_^"

I have this thing about dark pictures with a lot of shadows, and things that defenitley don’t belong. This is great. It just screams melancholy. Beautiful, yet dark and kinda lonley... me love.

My! This is a great drawing. The background is beautiful. He seems so lonely, the poor guy. What happened to him?

:-) Terhi Lehkonen replies: "He’s just melancholy by nature. : P Could be that he’s having issues with a certain girl, but who knows. Thanks!"

Love it. And, I would love to read the story you are writing about your Dreamworld when you get it published. It’s very fascinating.

:-) Terhi Lehkonen replies: "All right, I’ll get back to you in... 20 years. ;P Thanks!"
