That would be his natural skin color. And the background is not just a fuzz.

This is actually based on a sketch-on-lined-notebook which I did in school between lessons half a year ago - i.e. sitting up in a ball in some corridor and drawing against my legs with a hopeless pencil stub in less than 15 minutes while people wipe their bags in my face as they pass by. And the sketch only consisted of his face, so... thank goodness for computer painting. The actual painting probably only took a couple hours but the idea and composition devoured a whole week. I don't want to think about it.

The dude has severe issues with himself and has nearly developed a multiple personality disorder, pushing away his unwanted half who has simply been waiting ever since. The rational and mature part is now faced with stress which drains him from his energy to maintain the dark maze where he hid the young, powerful and wild. As it begins to rain, this half realizes his chance is here - the emotions leak through and show him the way out. He does not, however, intend to join himself again. He wants to change the guy behind the steering wheel.

I love this picture, the feeling is so amazing and deep, and I love his eyes. Great work on the skin too!

:-) Terhi Lehkonen replies: "Ah, you like the eyes? Cool, I personally found the face to be the most intense part of the painting process. Thanks! : >"

Again, very creepy, the way he just... stares... ... at you. *shudders* *looks away* ... *looks back* LOL. And he’s more human-looking than all your other people so far. Very nice. 4 thumbs up. Yes, I give thumbs up with my big toes. 1 I can do many things with my feet. Hahahahahahahahahaha.

:-) Terhi Lehkonen replies: "Pretty boy, is he not? :E Hahah, two pinkies up for your four thumbs. Thanks!"
