Self-portrait. This is kind of a sister drawing for 'Riddles'. This one has its two riddles too:
1. Where am I? (And I mean myself here.)
2. Name the masks according to what they represent.

FUN! HAHAHAH!! I know the situation/feeling. It's not much fun to be in. I am progressing, though.. trying to wear a naked face. Lovely picture.

12 Terhi Lehkonen replies: "Yeah...
Thank you."

*YYAAAWWNNN* I need to sleep now. feel free to critisize me for all of my hard work in trying to interpret your picture. it is a very nice picture, by the way.
Remember: I am not psychologist, but only a simple writer with to mush time on her hands. EVERYTHING was made up as I went along. wasn't that long? three posts worth! phew! Thank you peoples! I'm here 'til thursday...try the Veal!! *Zzzzzzzzz*

3 Terhi Lehkonen replies: "And I'm very happy you stopped to look into it and wrote your thoughts down for me to read! You also wrote the longest comment I ever got, so you deserve a big load of cookies, golden stars and glittery stuff! And you don't need to be a psychologist for this, I want anyone who wants to answer to do it. 2 Be it a seven-year-old or Platon (if he was alive). Thank you so much!"

the Masque of Despair sports a grim demeanor, beingthe very thing that gives you the first spark of worry, sucking out all hope from your body as you nurse upon the emptyness it creates from your lost will.

:-) Terhi Lehkonen replies: "Exactly the name I had in mind. 2"

Where are you? You are within the deep recessess of your mind. there, nothing is considered neither wrong nor right, where everything is as it is, neither completeley wrong, or completely right, from what you want it to be. You are within your psyche, your subconsious mind. the real riddle to me is, how did you get in there in the first place?
The masks, of course, represent your sides. No one is just one side, for every humble preist can get annoyed and even the most evil of beings were once innocent children. I see that the wires that are holding up these Masks of your personality represent how they are all conected, in some way, to your ultimate being, or avatar. perhaps the thread, garland and shawls draped around them in an almost 'dark' fashion interpret how the sides connect with one another. what is anger and rage without happiness and virute? Worry and despair without optimism?
Oh yeah, I guess I should interpret the masks themselves, eh? let's start from the left.

:-) Terhi Lehkonen replies: "Umhum... I meant, where am I in the picture, but that's a nice answer anyway. 12 I know I am the neuron-nest in my head mainly. Though, in a way, you did answer for my real question. "The masks, of course, represent your sides." That's correct. So, if one mask is for one side, then all my sides are... draw the line. Very simple in the end. 10"

Thank you! I like cookies and glittery stuff. I'll be sure to send you a nice big cookie for every picture in your gallery. I knew that the blue mask wasn't very correct, but oh-well...it was late and I wanted o finish it before I collapsed over the keyboard in exhaustion. I'm glad you like it!

1 Terhi Lehkonen replies: "Hehe, I understand, thank you!"

K -- i think someone above me has already tried gone through all the masks -- I started reading their ideas, and stopped. I'd rather decifer it for myself! Before I delve into symbol searching, I must say that I've seen quite a few depictions of masks and the daily wearing of them, but this is perhaps the best depiction I've seen thus far because it's atypical -- for one thing the masks are each unique, not the usual white happy/sad face. You do an excellent job covering a wide range of emotions! And I love the addition of the metal rods holding up the masks -- make them seem more connected to the person -- you, I should say. You also did an excellent job making your expression very blank, though there is a hint of melancholy in it. An all in all effective piece.

Alright. *rubs hands together* The ones in your hands are happiness and sadness, I think that's pretty straightforward.

Starting in the upper left -- despair? depression? I think that one's pretty straightforward as well. Below that, Anger. Below that, the blue one, embarrassment and bashfulness. On the right, annoyance? The purple spaz has to be excitement. This next one is the hardest. -- Is it indecisiveness? And the white one above that -- peace? Bliss?

So how's I do, teach? Did I pass? 2

:-) Terhi Lehkonen replies: "Yeah, the fun of riddles is always that if you solve it on your own. 12

And well, let's see. It has taken me some time to read the answer and browse for the old sketch because I have forgotten the exact names by now, hah. But I can say that you got the names really good, definitely passed! You have everything right, save for the white one floating on the top right corner. And I see I haven't remembered it while writing the description, but my face is actually a mask too. Without knowing, you answered to a question that didn't exist. 10 But it's not exactly blankness or melancholy on my face.
Another thing, I am the kid, yeah. But that's not all. 12

I'm glad you took up the riddle, I like seeing how people interpret my drawings. So thanks a lot for that!
If you wish to know the names and my real location, just reply to the email and I will tell you. 2"

1. you are the...magenta one?!
2. clockwise from the one shes holding: dunno, peace, quizzical, energetic, inner persona, lonley, sad, anger, death...?
(by the way, you should have got a Mod for this one) ;D

:-) Terhi Lehkonen replies: "1. That too.
2. That's one correct. 2 And I dunno, mod's shouldn't be handing out highlights every time."
