A book once read,
A doll once played,
A candle once burned,
Like them I sit, gathering dust and decay.
I am forgotten.

My last light burns, slowly fading with me.
I am numb, I merely watch.
Bound in emotion, I cannot cry,
Though longing as I am,
My tears have run dry.

Inside I scream, but my lips fail to move,
They're rusted, like me.
I've been still so long,
But they don't know, they don't care.

The cobwebs collect, the light grows dim...
Nothing, nothing I can do.
No one remembers...
I am fading,
Forgotten.

Like always, the coloring is stunning and very well done. The whole picture comes together very well; i like the border and the fabrique in the background. Very well done!
