SciFi and Fantasy Art Blazing Thorn by Alicia ´Xellandria´ Kilpatrick

Yeah, can you tell my brain's not working title-wise? I was never very good at that. Anywho, want to make this brief. This is my character (who has no real place in anything), Thorn, and she is on fire. Well, her hand is, and only coz' she's casting a fire spell or something, but you never know. I do hope her expression comes off as 'annoyed' or 'pissed' as opposed to 'look, I'm looking at you with my mouth slightly open in what appears to be an attempted growl' ^^; Her hand looks a little big, too, but I think since most of it ended up covered by the flame, it might be chalked up to the flame itself. Born and raised in Painter, from sketch to... directly before copyright notice ^^; Stereotypical anime elf girl? Why, yes, actually ^_^ Even though she's not *coughcoughwellendowedassomecough* Man, this cold is getting to me...

I really admire how you did that all in painter and all, and it really is good, i was just wondering, how did you get that fire thing happening? I've been tryin for awhile, but i'm just failing. Really good piece. Alicia 'Xellandria' Kilpatrick replies: "I've been trying to figure that out myself oO; I know it was one of the effects brushes (the one called "fire" maybe), but each time I've tried to do it since, the fire gets all blue and bright pink and generally very strange o__O;;"

19 Jun 2004	Peter Malone	Loading... This is nice. I think that even though she isn't well edowed that this ads to the human aspect of the picture. I like the background very nice. I do see how the flaming hand does apear to catch the eye, though it's hard to say if it's truely over sized though.
