An emerald jewel pierces the night,
Its gaze transfixes, a dire illumination,
The moon and her countesses dare it to take flight,
It still sits with infatuation.
Luminescence steals in as gold,
Concealing the shadow,
It’s ebon wings unfold,
The darkness it shall hide the glow.
This demoniac creature,
And his heart-wrenching stare,
Will do anything, anything to ensnare,
Don’t look into its eyes, they are despair.
You were curious, now caught in eyes,
It’s too late, now you are locked within,
You’re trapped, captures in your own demise,
Fear it, the raven.
