U r so rite abowt the races in the fantsy world. Have ou evr thought of doig 100% african fantasy? (like their so black, thet they look, purple?) u should!!! That wold be unique, awsom and even astonishing. You would get a whole lot more compliments frm me, i know that much!!! Mainly because i love art that stand out(and yours stands out).

I think the reason why they don't draw characters from various races because of the societies in which they live...most artists I know are Caucasian, hence draw Caucasian characters, it's what they see everyday, it's their world14...another theory would be that dwarves were initially an European folk myth, not African or whatsoever, so people don't really think about incorporating a foreign ethnicity into another culture...but way to go for the originality and modern touch2Well thought-out.

sashae didnt they come out with AVATAR? well anyway- its a good point that stands to be made about the lack of diversity in the fantasy world& This pic is a beautiful one to inspire all about what u can get when u add some real color to it
