	There she stood with sword in hard standing proud. I was afraid but she was there and I felt safe. She was my protector.

18 Feb 2004	Tarliman	Loading... Very nice work. Well proportioned. Good shading. Interesting stuff in the background -- but there's no frowning mask, just a maniacally grinning one, is that a symbol whose meaning eludes me?

It's easy to see that you've taken several strides forward with your pencilwork. Your attention to detail is unflagging, but I am particularly keen to note that your texturing and shading have improved tremendously. The balance of greys in this picture is outstanding. The modeling - the 3-D effect your shading achieves - is excellent. Her facial features flatten out just a bit - where her nose and lips are very detailed, her cheeks and forehead just seem like a bit of white space, but you know, that's a small thing to criticize when you've done so well overall.

18 Aug 2004	Mandy Elliott	Loading... You know, alot of the mod's choices lack "the wow factor" which is somthing very rare to me. I hardly see work and simple go "wow" and when i do, i have to leave my comment. I like this picture (dispite the lack of color) because it is nobal. She looks very selfassured and i feel that i too would feel safe in her presence. She has a comanding look about her that i also like and even so i adore you attention to detail in this work. Over all a good choice for Mods choice and a well crafted work from you.
