This pic really captures this part of the book! But even though it's really good, I'm not sure that I like it. I don't like to thing of little, peace-loving hobbits at war. I know they had to or they would have been misrable and all. Good job!

Hobbits had to defend their borders, always have since they moved into the Shire. They were keen bowmen, and deadly with stones in their hands.

They even had a border patrol, the Bounders. The Hobbits also say they sent a contingent of bowmen with the Last Alliance... but, I dunno. 10

Good work, nonetheless. Even if it didn't happen in the book, it's always good to be imaginative, hm? That's what it's all about, right? 2

Somehow this reminds me of the book covers in Terry Pratchett's books 10

It has the same huge amount of detail and bit humorous touch as those covers. Gotta like it. Well done, yes, absolutely wonderful.
