In times of old,

When all was gold,

There lived a girl,

As white as a pearl.

Strange she was,

For the man she loves,

Loves her in return,

Their fire does burn.

And so we learn,

From fires that burn,

Of times of old,

When all was gold.

ehehe i like this quite a lot, it seemed to me quite surreal and haunting for some reason. the only line i didn't like was
"There lived a girl, as white as a pearl"
It seemed to be too.. rhymey.. if u know what i mean..
