This poem captures the feeling of a young girl when she first meets the love of her life.

To see you each day

Stirs my soul

To hear your voice

Makes my heart pound

You shook my hand

I felt warm and feverish

I want to see more of you

I love to hear your voice

I want more of your touch

I want to say how much I love you,

But I can’t seem to find the words.

No words I say or write

Can describe this feeling that I have

I love you

But I don’t know how to say it.

Maybe you can see it

When you look into my eyes

If I could look into yours

I’m sure I’d see the same.
