At first this picture started out from a need of making a picture as anathomicallly correct as I could, when I started to add her features she developed a quite strong character and now she's like a personality of her own. She's actually a a sword woman but taking a short rest on the fluffy cushions for a sec or two. But don't try anything stupid, I'm sure she's got a dagger or something hidden in her clothes... ;D done in winter 2004 colored july 2005 prismacolor pencils (?) and watercolour, black ballpen for the outlines

I like this one a lot! Your shading is very good! I like the light reflection, nice colours, and outfit, especially the top so cool!

I hope she has other clothes going out for war! Or is her best weapon that she distracts all the guys that she fights against? If I had fought against her, I would have looked at a lot other places than at her sword. 2

The outfit is just so good. The little leg belt, I bet she has a knife there during working hours, looks very interesting. Probably it would have been the last thing I saw, before she killed me.

One thing I don't like is her head or rather the angle of it. It looks a little to much tilted. It's like her neck is stretching forward. Not a good way to rest.

:-) E. Johanna Gustavsson replies: "yes I think she has other clothes too, she'll definatly wear armour, to some degree at least, in battle.
Or maybe it's a secret(?) fighting style of hers to distract her (male) opponents with that little leg belt (but I didn't mention anything about that, heheh).
about the head; I see your point and you're right, it doesn't seem relaxing at all. At some point painting this I was thinking that she'd be looking at something but I never really finished that thought."

Prismacolors are the best, are they not!?
