I'm appalled that you'd say that. You must not know how much hard work goes into a great "insane" drawings like your referring to. But maybe I should just shrug this comment off and think of the fine line between Genius and Insanity.

Hey! I just read EVERY SINGLE COMMENT on here. I'm sticking by my first comment ("Wow it must be really depressing"...) Although I would like to change the point of my anger. I apologize Ms. Jette, I actually want to lynch the moderators not you any more.
I still don't have the balls to login and flaunt my name and link, but I will say that, yes I am an artist on this site. Mod's!!! GO TO HELL!!! DAMN YOU ALL!!! Not only would my phoenix drawing have disemboweled this teddy bear in the Mod's pic arena, its much cooler. I AM extremely jealous, I'll admit it. I want a list of the mods' real names and where they live. Any one who has a nice, tough, length of rope can join me. I declare war against the mods. Unless of course they are somehow able to hack into my computer and can destroy it. That would blow...

I read some of the above comments and I have only one thing to say.
I don't know how moderators choose their favourites, but I bet a lot of it is to do with first impressions. Sometimes they might think....wow really cool, so realistic. And when they saw the carebear I bet they fell off their chairs laughing....and that's why it's here....it made someone feel an instant response. To me, that is what great artwork is... a visual image that promotes an emotional response. Sometimes its a very deliberate effort to get a reaction, sometimes its a happy accident. Doesn't matter. I know there will be lots of people who won't forget this image in a hurry, and that should make the artist very proud.

Cute Idea, that will make the carebear creators roll in their graves . . . but yeah, I have put out my own opinion that Mod's choices shouldn't be given to fan art, there's too much original art out there to give so many mod's choices to fan art. Just my 2 cents.
You know what would make this pic even better? More bears! Got for it!
