This little gryphon is more lion than bird, unlike most of his kith and kin. He's only a few minutes old and already stretching out his wings.

Archimedes was drawn on Saturday Nov 20, 2004. He was drawn with regular no.2 pencil on a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 inch white printer paper. The drawing was colored in Photoshop 6.0 the following day.
