A rather unusual picture, isn’t it? I just got tired of drawing centaurs walking, jumping and shooting, so I made up my mind do make a drawing of a dancing mare. So I did. To be frank, I did not expect it to be a success for I had never before tried to draw dancing centaurs :) However when I sat down to this drawing I started to feel I grew more and more involved in that process. My interest considerably piqued, I understood I couldn’t stop until I drew it up to the end. It took me about a day to finish this drawing, but I believe it is really worth the time spent on it.

Welcome to the club! I've done a dancing centaur or two myself (you can see it , if Aatheus ever gets around to posting them...)

Forgot to mention - well done on the hands. You've obviously put work in there on improving them. Great work

Those front legs are too short I'm afraid, but it's very interesting how you've brought some 'civilisation' into the mix with the shod hooves and the body paint (apples).
I'd note that she would probably want to be wearing a bra for any kind of enthusiastic dancing, though, because I can tell you with first hand experiance that bounce-age hurts. Seriously, even a centaur woman with a-cup sized breasts would want support if she was going to be moving any more energetically than a walk.
Hee hee, though, a great fun image! 1

i'm sorry, but I really must say you distracted from the real picture with the dots on the hooves (were they nails?)and the apples...although I do get the joke, it was pawn scum!!!!

All right!! I've always tried to imagine centaur's dancing, but never been able to figure out what it would look like... very cool all the way around (except maybe the apples... cute though)!
