I think I understand you, have you ever tried drawing your feelings, I know I can't get it done but I'm just curious... I like the darkness in this picture, she looks fearless havong killed the dragon but at the same time sad to have taken the life of such a magnificent beast! Justin A. Grahn replies: "The world is made up of darkness, it is entirely up to us if we are to fear it, or accept it.She made her choice..."

He he ::devilish smirk:: oh look you are riding a chocobo in FFX!! how cute! Anyways...it seems you are getting really upset at me and I quote "You do not have to wrtie everything you see or hear..or smell " and "oh lord". HEY NO PEEKING!! Play your game and let me type these annoyingly long comments. Oh no you are giving me that look. WEll talk about women being strong....you'll regret it if you peek again. Hey Tony!! Justin is holding me here against my will. Not really. Well I really do like this picture and I love the original hanging on my wall as I said in an above comment. Well I think I need to move on to another picture....look for my next installment of "Amanda's pointless and irritating, yet entertaining comments." He just threatened to skin my cat! O.o Frightened Amanda....
| 10 Sep 2003 | Suz Bateson | Loading...Nice detail! You've already got a decent grasp of anatomy, which is good, although more practice will help when you have to draw awkward areas like her right leg (our left). It's obvious that you put a lot of care and effort into your art - I hope you keep on practicing!
One word of advice would be to consider what details you need to show. While the time spent on the scales shows and definitely adds some oomph, an excess of details in other areas (the spear, for example) serves only to muddy the image up. Her spear is almost lost in the background, instead of standing out as an interesting compositional element.
Nice work! | |
