Natasha Minks

Natasha is the 'bard of Korangar,' a position of dubious honor requiring the ancient skills of wordsmith. She currently attends a college somewhere in the U S of A as an English major, loves to drive, and worries constantly about all sorts of things. Natasha has absolutely no idea what her future job or career will be, since she's told Jedi Knight, starship captain, and Hogwarts student are out, and is enjoying putting off deciding until the last minute. She likes solitude, the written word, daydreaming, adrenaline rushes, sleeping, friends, and, when exceptionally angry, eating souls. Preferably with BBQ sauce. She is also an internet junkie, tentative student of various branches of philosophy, and a huge fan of anything penned by Terry Pratchett and/or Neil Gaiman. She has also recently declared her alleigance to Slytherin House, and has long felt that Severus Snape is an unsung hero. Now please, put all this prejudice-making information aside and please go read the Tales from Korangar that have been posted thus far.

And now that those are out of the way:

I decided to join Elfwood because I am, however slowly, inventing a fantasy realm, and I wanted to share it with someone. Preferably someone I don't know in person, as I've found those people often make the best critics.

My "fantasy realm" is known as Korangar. The name started out as a joke because I had nothing else, and kind of stuck. The concept began as a short story for Spanish class, evolved into a boardgame for Debate class, and has become several disconnected descriptions that I hope to eventually bring together in some semblance of order or actual story.

So... hello.
