	I loved Michaek Moorcock's Elric saga as a youth and tried a few works with our anti-hero in them. This is an old watercolor of Elric staring out over the ocean in one of his many contemplative moods. I was inspired by Robert Gould's wonderful cover art and at that time was not able to approximate it that well.

19 Jul 1999	Tom_Sawyer	Loading... `When I was looking at the tumbnail of this pic, I thought the composition and colors are very similar to that of the cover of "Grace Under Pressure", an album from the canadian band Rush, from 1983 or 1984, I don't remember. You don't happen to be a Rush fan, do you? There is a lot of interesting stuff on your page, keep going...

7 Aug 2000	Chaostorm	Loading... you seem to have a descent talent with watercolor but especially with the use of wet coloring in the sky. the robes could have used more variations in shadow since the light comes from the background. your attempt at his face honestly comes from moorcock's many descriptions of elric with minus his chin, but i guess we are all allowed our own interpretations in any books character. overall nice work!!
