SciFi and Fantasy Art Into the Jungle by Kort Kramer


	Tell me what you think is goin on here. I was inspired by Moorcock's Warrior of Mars series, though don't ask me how specifically. A sense of danger pervades this piece as a figure stares unseeing into the thick dark jungle.

Just shows what a great picture this is -- how the viewer can really adapt his/her own frame of mind to it. I think he's going in. He's curious -- something, a fae, a glimmer of Something he sees in the woods is drawing him in deeper and deeper...
20 Feb 2000	Gruzak	Loading... Hmm, very nice peice you have. Personally I don't see how he could be walking out unless his knees bend backward, I think he's a young teenage boy drawn into a jungle on some sort of dare or quest.
5 Feb 2001	Whatever	Loading... That is great use of color and shading. To your question, it looks to me as if he has lost something in the jungle, like maybe an arrow or a deer or something and is trying to decise wether to get it.

But the safety and warmth of the beach.... the cautious pose of the person, the forebiddingness of the jungle.... all very cool!!
