This is a huge congregation point for humanity in the depths of space. It has a trader and shipping area at the bottom with a habitat for more permanent residents at the top. This is art for the Trinity game. Rendered in Bryce4 and touched up in Photoshop5. Its big. It damned big.

HOW THE HELL are there no comments here?! This picture is awesome! It is a perfect cross between a space colony and a space station. Who knows... Maybe someday, someone from NASA will see this and start thinking...

Woah man.. I've done no work today just looking at this stuff! Stunning, Call Mr Lucas, ILM have nothing on these..

the picture seems without depth, to show rhat the space station is actually orbiting a giant planet nearby, certain details like the space traffic approaching the base is commendable..

Great picture, you have really captured the sheer scale of the size of these station perfectly. One can easily believe it to be a thriving metrolopolis of people with generations brought and living on that station without ever knowing anything but the steal walls surrounding them while on the fringes of the station, the faces constantly change as old space farers leave and new ones arrive with all many of cargo's... Good work.

you might want to ignore the last guy. it's a very good picture. Only two words to make it better, perspective and depth. Defence systems may be a good idea.

Thanks for the comments gang, except for you anonymous. I see lots of depth and perspective, but I built in in the wireframe so maybe I'm too close to it. This is a deep space station so no planets are nearby, though the light is from a galactic core behind. It has defense systems too, but at this scale you do not see them readily.
Anyway, I appreciate the comments. It is an old image and I don't think I'll be going back now to make adjustments.
