This is a poem that I wrote because I was frustrated with all the possibilities of parellel words and everything else. Please comment!

Enigma of Life

By Kristen Sun

The world turns round and round

Revolving and rotating

Paying no mind to the people

How insignificant we are!

It boggles the mind

And frustrates the head

Trying to comprehend

The mysteries of this life

Where are we going?

What are we doing?

In this time

We are all trying to make something of ourselves

Yet our life is in the hands of our Earth

If that is true

Tell me, why are we destroying it?

The beauty

The innocence

There will soon be no more…

We could be all alone in this universe

Just us

If we wipe out our world with war,

Who is left to live in this existence?

Sometimes life could be a dream

Sometimes a cruel reality

Which one is it?

Mayhap this life that we lead

Is not really ours

We could be chess pieces

On God’s board

Why don’t we make the best out of what we have?

Let us learn to love

And love back

Life sure is good that way…

*A fairy you recently met walks again into your mists, and dances around the circle of standing stones* Oooo... aaaaa... *first comment* what is wrong with everybody? How come no one commented on this? grrrr... that just makes me mad... this is a cute poem, it describes what people feel when they have those questions on their mind... those 'what if' questions, and why the world is what it is... aren't those just the most frustrating moments? You brought that feeling out perfectly. good job! *the fairy skips away leaving an aura around the standing stones... which wait for more fairies to come*

1 Christina Lee replies: "Thanks for being the first commenter!!! I'm sure more fairies will come! ^_~ And definately->those what if questions frustrate me SO MUCH!!!!! Arggh! You're so sweet! ^_^ "

Oh the philosophical struggles of our mind. I swear I've asked myself every single one of those questions. Good job putting everything into words...

1 Christina Lee replies: "Thanks for the nice comment! ^_^ *hug*"
