Tag As FavoriteComment		as everybody seems to have a favourite vampire i have one too :). it's Lumpi from the popular german children-book 'the little vampire' by Angela Sommer-Bodenburg. in the book he's kind of a nerdy teenager, but in the first film version, a canadian tv-production from 1985 i think,they made him be a noble-punker played by Jim Grey who also performed the title song 'they can see in the dark' ~ i just say: SIGH !

LUMPI! The very first fan art pic of Lumpi I've ever seen! I loved 'the little vampire'-books when I was a kid! I think I read almost every single one of them!

The Picture looks great. It´s a gift, if somebody can paint a picture like that. The little Vampire was one of my favourite serial , when i was a child.Lumpi was always different from the other vampires,he always seemed to be bored by everything, almost like a rebel.
It´s a pity, that no one know where Jim Gray is and what he´s doing.

Yes, it is a really cool picture!

But I want to know more about Jim Grey. (I'm a fan from the "Little Vampire") Know someone what Jim Grey does today?

Great picture! You have a very original style and the greatest subjects. I loved the Little Vampire books when I was a kid (still do, of course), they introduced me to horror made me freak I am today.

(And I just realised how much he looks like Blixa Bargeld. Whoa.)

Lumpi has always been my favourite vampire too.Although you never even saw him do anything nasty,he still was a little scary(well,at least when I was a kid) and he had a really nice voice.Anyway,absolutely great picture 2
