I'm extremely jealous. ^ _ ^ You're stories are great and I hope that you go far with this talent of yours! If you ever want to get a book published then you can go to www.firstbook.com (either that or firstbooks.com I don't quite remember) Anyhoo, I look up to you and I hope that my writing evolves into something equally as good as yours is. (yeah right) I wish you the best of luck! Daniel J. Kroon replies: "I went to this site... but I haven't been brave enough to look into it more. But your writing will evolve into something like mine as long as you keep writing. I suffer from the same issue as you at times, I feel people write better than I do. Remember this, we each have our own styles, and we each are good at our own style. The trouble you run into is getting others to approve or like your style enough to think that it is the best thing since sliced bread..." | |
| 4 Jun 2001 | Germain Belmont Martinez | Hello hello! I am trully surprised that someone from outside my circle of friends came to say his opinion on some of my stuff ::giggles:: I hesitated longly to get a wyvern library for the fact that I cannot take critisism. And poetry, no matter how it's written, reflects what you feel. I feel threatend when someone says bad things on either my writtings or my art. But I am honored when someone I do not know says nice meaningfull things. I thank you greatly for that..I have brefly read the first story you have up hear and I can say: WOW! you possess the skill to wrap us up in your storytelling, making us beg for more. There is such a good flow with your words and so well detailed, this is just a lovely place to be. I'll come back to start the Love's Locket ::tries to recall the title:: and the others that I have not had the chance to read. Happy writting to you, and keep the wonderful stories comming! Take care!! ::waves:: Daniel J. Kroon replies: "Whoa, Stephie wrote me a comment! Hehe... Thanks for the praise, I, as most writers do, think that I still have a ways to go! I enjoy writing comments for others. It is only in having people comment on our work that we get better!" | |
| 18 Jun 2001 | Mellissa ' Nymphy' Braus | hi! i read your loves locket lost story...and i was hooked! it's so amazingly wonderful, far better than my work. see you later and keep up the great job! Nymphy ~^.^~ Daniel J. Kroon replies: "Thanks Nymphy for the comment! I'm trying to keep the writing going. Your work is not that bad, practice is what helps. Taking creative writing courses doesn't hurt either." | |
| 30 Nov 2001 | Christiaan, A.Iken | I love ur style or writting, is darin ur persona or something, i like reading works of literature which flow easily, alot of amateur writrers have that problem of being sort of cut up but ur style is very smoooth and does draw u in. Daniel J. Kroon replies: "Author: I'm not sure if this works, but I'm trying it anyway! - Thanks for the comment! To answer one of your comments, yes Darin is partly based me, so is Azoulin, basicly two different halves of me." | |
| 21 Feb 2002 | Stephanie | I haven't read yer readin' writin' yet, but I like your sense of humor. Great website. Now, I'll go read your readin' writin'. Thanks for the laughs. Daniel J. Kroon replies: "Please, by all means read! read! " | |
| 3 Mar 2002 | R s kroon meshuggener@mes...com> | Somedays I mis Traver Stoutheart, Gaspard Malachie and Khans Dervil. Whatever happened to those guys? Daniel J. Kroon replies: "My brother, ladies and gentlemen! heh... Yes, well hopefully a story of those characters will surface soon too!" | |

| 2 Apr 2003 | Anonymous | Thanks for trying to help in my search for firstbook.com recommended by retired editor, agent etc. Phylis Fleiss of NY. If you can offer more help it would be greatly appreciated. The book is adventures of a doctor of the South and a private from the North. Jefferson Medical College in Pa played a large part in this conflict. Touches somewhat on the medical aspects of the wounded, not so much on the Civil War itself. The two most unlikely pair, join forces and the adventure begins, some romance, sexually explicit , but not vulgar. The plot is intense and heart breaking as story unfolds. My husband wrote the 750 pages and after reading it I did not want it to end. It has been researched and is precise, factual and informative. BW | |

| 2 Oct 2004 | Gramal | Very nice work Mr. Man. Time to work on the Falconr Chronicles? Love your art, both visual and the written word. I can say I was there when Azoulin was born, should I share the story of the delayed blast fireball and the amorous couple? Maybe someday we can collabrate on something? | |
