	There was one old song of the legendary Russian singer Alla Pugachova. It was called 'Million scarlet roses' and it was a touching story of one artist in love who had turned his whole life into flowers. Once upon a time my father used to be inspired by this song and he painted a picture, which he never finished. Now, as I finished my picture of the song, I hope I have finished his deed as well.

13 Jul 2004	Salla	Loading... I know that song, too. My mum used to play it when I was a baby - it was almost the only thing that could make me stop crying... This one's pretty, I especially like the sky. Although you could still work a little with the hands. Keep up the great work!

To this day, Alla Pugachova's "Million scarlet roses", with music by the great composer Raimond Pauls and lyricist Voznesenskiy, remains one of the most popular songs in Russia and all over the former USSR. If she sings it at one of her new concert shows these days, you know she is in a very special mood! M. B. Savchovska replies: "Gods! I never knew the lyrics were written by Voznesenskiy himself! Well, no surprise I guess, thanks for the info! Actually October last year Alla Pugachova came to Bulgaria again. Unfortunately I wasn't there, but I think that she's sung the song at this concert. Thanks once again."

3 Feb 2008	Ben Gardner	Loading... I know I am 4 years late for this discussion, but I have just experienced the ultimate synchronicity moment. I am a novelist with three SF&F books currently in print. I always have Ms. Pugachova’s music playing while I write, especially "Million Alux Roz", because half of my characters are Russian. This morning I Googled the title and found your page. Your painting could easily be mistaken for my heroine in the novels This will now always be in my mind when the song comes up in rotation. I’m currently having my novels translated to Russian so that I can publish there, also. YA govor’u na russkom yazyke ochen’ ploho. M. B. Savchovska replies: "Thank you for this comment.
