Annawill
moen,
Annawill, ais!
Annawill awn,
Stel te vlais!
Look into the sunshine
Rising from the sea’s line
Above the whole land,
The day illuminate,
Let of time the sand
Run, be never late.
Chelien, I hail thee!
With thy light you bless us all free,
And when the dawn breaks
Like birds our spirits fly
Across the starlit lakes
And into the bright sky.
Though when the night come
So many shall arise,
If you are gone
Still blackened be the skies.
Back into light
We can believe
For ages in tomorrow,
But in the night
We mourn, and leaf
We fall into the sorrow.
Give us the might
To crush the grief,
And save us from this hollow,
And then we shall kite
With o’r belief,
And thee we’ll ever follow!
There is a mystery I know we shall reveal
For all the people and all those living into the young
land,
And for the history belike shall be a seal,
A key to the riddle and a message from my hand.
Though when the night come
The stars will not arise,
If you are gone
Still we shall fly the skies!
Annawill
ais!
Annawill ais!
Annawill ais!
