| 14 Jul 2006 | Mandy E. Burnham | I can't wait to see more of your work! Welcome, welcome! Anthony Krueger replies: "Thanks! I'm writing chapter one of Hunt right now. I'm having trouble with it. I just can't seem to put my ideas into words and make them sound good at the same time." | |
| 2 Aug 2006 | Aubrey Lynn Anderson | Yes, it did take me forever, but better late than never, I suppose! I am proud to say that I have now also met Mercedes Lackey and Larry Dixon, so at least there's something in common. ^_^ I have read both of your stories, and I look forward to what comes next! I tend to agree with much of what other comments say, instead of repeating or going in circles... stupid roundabouts... so you already know everything worthwhile. Anyway! I understand your "ideas-into-words" problem. The more you think about what to write, the harder it becomes to write those ideas down. And then, once you begin, you realize that it doesn't sound like what you want, doesn't have the right emotion, or the story has changed since your last bout of daydreaming. At least that's what happens to me. For me, once I get past the first page, I'm good to go... unless the story has been festering for a year or more... I really need to write those... Now that you have provided me a chance to stand on my soap-box (you can have that back now Lindsay) once again to another one of a dozen people that has heard the "one-page-speech" I shall *twirl and disappear* Anthony Krueger replies: " Wow, I have got to start checking in on elfwood more often. I joined the community play and haven't had a moment of time to myself since. Okay, now that I'm here: You met Misty and Larry? Oh man, no fair, I just read thier books, I never met them. Thank you, I am thinking too much, I just can't come up with a suitable transition from the middle of a field to the village cobblestones for chapter one. I know precisely what I want to happen but not exactly. You see, I work better when I have a skeleton of the story in my head, and then I can wing it as I'm writing it; meaning I have no clue what is going to happen in between the important plot points in my head until I write it. Yeah, I know, I'm a madman, so sue me. Well, I think I've used up enough space on this comment, or have I? It's hard to tell on the extranet... =P Thanks for stopping by. " | |
| 7 Aug 2006 | C. 'Liari' Seidel | Hello! Link hopping and came across your name. I shall have to see what lurks in your library, but at the moment it is late and I am tired. So, I shall adjourn until the morrow, and wander back over to read. Anthony Krueger replies: "Hey, we have so much in common. Wanna lurk together? It'll be fun!" | |
| 9 Aug 2006 | C. 'Liari' Seidel | Commonality is good! Fwee! I promised to read, didn't I? I shall do that now, and I thank you for the visit to my page! ...too many exclaimation marks.... Anthony Krueger replies: "Great... You do that... There are only 2 exclamation marks... Too many? O_O -_- O_O *BLINK*" | |
