And I have a feeling that he or she was just a drive-by commenter because when I clicked on the link I got a 404 error indicating that the web-site was no longer available. Anyways, I think that the angel is very well done in the details and symmetry. However, your angel is holding a sword, which in traditional Jewish-Christian belief would classify this as an Arch-Angel. In some of the mythological stories I've read it's said that Arch-Angels are God's warriors always ready to fight evil and defend the innocent. They are sometimes depicted with black wings and clad in armor. The Angels that are depicted wearing white robes with white glowing wings are the ones that guide living humans and escort the souls of the dead to their final place of rest in heaven. Just thought that I'd throw in a little information that you may or may not be aware of. Just in case you might do other related art.

Who cares what different angels are "suppose" to look like, or what religious beliefs you have. The art is about what you felt was in your soul and needed to be expressed. Gaw! Anyway, it is great. I don't know how to shade well, so kuddos. Xoxo ann
