Yay, you're back! [pokes] more writing ... please? [hopeful look]

Kay Tabin replies: "  Yup new stuff will be coming a plenty. I have five new story pieces coming as soon as I put my ticket through. Just finishing final touches on them today (html coding and such). Ticket should be submitted tomorrow. And also with Nanowrimo just a month away, I have started planning that story and it will be in genre to fit in Elfwood so that will be coming up on Elfwood too. *takes deep breath* Bad news time: No new chapters on the old works already posted here."

I guess I would only find out when those go through if I fav’d you! Big oversight on my part but easily rectified! Ah, I can’t complain about no new chapters, I am just as guilty about posting up new stuff without adding more to existing pieces. I tried limiting myself to only posting a couple of stories and working only on the ones that were posted but that only ended up giving me a mean case of writer’s block that took more than the entire summer to get over So I am done with that one and I have decided to let my muses run free as they will. So far they have been cooperating exceptionally well with my nanowrimo project ... better than they ever have before. So I’m hoping that huge bout of writer’s block has done some good. Anywho, off to read the updates that I missed earlier!

Kay Tabin replies: "There are some updates you haven’t seen yet? I don’t think I have updated in forever, but you finding me on Nano and poking me as reminded me that this place exists! LOL. Let’s see if I can managed to get more up here."

Kay Tabin replies: "S’alright. It was really really long while ago that I wrote it. I’m just starting to show up again after pretty much a two years of absence. I found your comments and thought I would respond. "

Well, I appreciate it. Always nice to get a reply and whatnot. Truth is, I hadn’t been on elfwood that much lately myself and your comments acted as a catalyst. So, thanks.

Kay Tabin replies: "Well consider it a pay it forward since Lindsay smacked me to get me back here. LOL. Now if only I would get back to writing rather than playing around on Elfwood."

well, playing around on a writer’s website is a good start. Unless you are easily distracted. In which case it is the worst possible thing. Read some stories, browse some artwork. You’ll feel inspired soon enough. It only took reading someone elses story mentioning pirates to get me a moderator pick.

Kay Tabin replies: "Thanks, but I am very very easily distracted. What is keeping me going is trying to beat out a certain someone else who has posted a bunch of her Nanowrimo novel and I really can’t let her win! LOL *eyes Lindsay’s shelf*"

thanks for your comment on Promise, you get the first comment dance. It wont let me reply as I think your comment was so long you made the server choke .
The brewing commnet is an oversight by me. I try and eliminate word overusage, but in stuff that is more than a year old, I havent always succeeded.
The other one - that is a speech pattern thing of the narrator, though I will have a look at it to see about making clearer

How goes nano writing, any luck catching up?

I’m still in the process of catching up with my 10, 000 words. But I figure that if I write close to 3k words a day I can still make the deadline by the 30th! But it’s going to be tight on the days I work.
