"A Matter of Scale" by Krystal Tyler

Whee! I finally got the salt to do what it's supposed to with the watercolor! There was still salt residue when it dried, but it scraped off fairly well, and the places I didn't cover with colored pencil sometimes sparkle from leftover crystals.

It looked boring without extra subjects, so I added the monarchs. I used to raise them during the summer back home; they're probably my favorite butterflies.

I shaded the white on the wings waaaaay too much, but I expected to mess up that part anyway (the rest of the picture looked way too good).  It's not totally ruined, though. I still like it, for the most part.
