As the winter recedes to make way for spring, the trees come back to life....

I thought I could use my pen and ink skills to make a nifty detailed Ent or two (or in this case, a maple tree Ent with an oak in the background). Turned out very well, if I may say so m'self. I tried a different pen and ink style of making the sky (the horizontal lines). I left random gaps in the lines to give the impression of stars. I also had this spontaneous urge to give him a tail (which I did). o.O Looks goofy if ya ask me....

But the ent looks really great, a bit like i'd imagine fangorn from the lotr. The sky is imho not that fitting, still a great piece of artwork

17 Apr 2008	Roxanne Hancock	Loading... Oh, that’s exactly how I pictured the Ents. They were my favorite part of the LOTR books! what an incredible amount of detail. You can tell you weren’t too "hasty" with this.
