But man am I glad to have that class over, despite all the cool props my hippie of a teacher had. Woo. You're right though...your dragons have always had their element of plausibility, and shame on me for not stalking you better, I missed this guy's grand appearance. He's very...ambulatory, I can see his wings bobble as he maintains balance and cranes his neck lazily to stretch muscles still tensed from flight. Wheeeee dragons! Krystal Tyler replies: "I've seen something like that: as a demonstration during a spring festival, a few of us physicists put a couple electrodes in a pickle and made it glow. That was great! ^.^ It smelled kind of nasty, though... Ah, need to work on that stalking skill...shame shame... ;-] Aren't dragons great? (Thanks for commenting on mah stuff!)"

| 29 Sep 2005 | Ajder Andrei | Loading...THis is an interesting design... the only thing that bugs me about him is that his head seems to be a bit to small in comparation to the rest of his body... but the nagain, that could just be me... there are reasons why his head would be small ( like for speed for ecxample ) but Hey... this is just my own opinion... other then that... amn...the wings are folded a bit ockwardly... if he has just touched down and is deccelerating ( accelerating in the oposite direction ) then I would have expected his wings to be spread open in the process of foalding whille he continues to run allong till he gets to a stop... Also, if he is sapposed to be moving forward... I don't really see how his taill could possible be aiming forward like that... unless he is really contracting all the muscles in his taill like that... though I don't see the pourpouce... And one last tiny detaill... givven the fact that he is in motion, then those spines/strands that come from his head should be aiming backwards a bit... though it all depends just at what speed he is coming allong...
Well... I think I have sed all that I could possibly say about your pic... it is still a wanderfull pic... and better then smth I could do... I imagin a lot of things about dragons especially moovvement and the way they act in certain situations... I mean I thought about several ways in wich a dragon could take off fromthe ground... but surprisingly, I never thought about how they touch down... I have to thank you fro reminding me of this important detaill with your pic here... it give me a thing to ponder about... thanks again...
And, I hope I did not offend with my critick here...
P.S.
Mechanicle pencill IS THE BEST tool for drawing... ( for me, it is the only tool for drawing )...
