Tag As FavoriteComment		This picture is most gratefully dedicated to Dan Dionne, for had he not joined Elfwood (and had Elfwood not existed), I never would've been able to do a pic like this. THANK YOU!

I finished this pic on April 4, 2002 - it took me almost an entire month to do it, and I even worked on it all spring break. It was almost as bad to scan as it was to draw - try scanning a picture 18 x 24 inches with an 8.5 x 11 inch scanner. I had to scan the thing EIGHT TIMES and then stick them all together! Talk about a pain! Done in pen (lots of pen).

And you think you can't do backgrounds...I love how she's so innocent, just strolling along, taking in all the scenery. I also like how the membrane on the wings can bow either in or out, depending on how you look at it. I love the tree 12
