SciFi and Fantasy Art Pendragon by Krystal Tyler

One of my high school English teachers mentioned the word Pendragon to me one day (I already knew the relation to King Arthur), and it stuck in my head for quite some time. Finally, this image came to me. Somehow, I managed to convey almost exactly what I was imagining: a dragon looking up at the star-strewn sky and a quill pen pulling ink from the blackness and dripping it as more dragons form from the ensuing puddle. What does it mean? I'm not sure, but I think it's my subconscious pulling my love of dragons, writing, and astronomy all together into one image. I like it. A rare oils on canvas work, Dec. 18, 2002.

There a saying in german (maybe somthing comparably, or the same g exist in English to), roughly translated it goes: "The feather is mightier than the sword." It fit you work, I think... 'cause a sword could neither create such a piece of art nor dragons. ... this novel ends here. ;D Krystal Tyler replies: "Yep, there's a similar saying in English as well. I never thought of that, but it fits the picture really well! Thanks! ^.^"
