This has a long story behind it... I'll try to make it short.

Jilan Monteaux is/was one of my characters in the Adventure Quest RPG on campus. She was an auger - one of those very intelligent people with lots of skills (she was an inventor, to be specific). Anyway, her motive was the acquisition of knowledge, and my obsession with dragons coupled with Jilan wanting to know more about drakos (small, semi-rare dragonlike creatures that roam the planet) caused her to want to become a drako. So, she hired a small group of adventurers and a Nomad with a spirit exchange incant to help her achieve her goal. Through luck and a nifty magic item, the drako was subdued, Jilan and the drako's souls were switched, and voila! 'Course, we had to kill off Jilan's original body to keep the soul exchange permanent, but meh. She didn't mind. Now her name is Tyndracha Navarre - the silvery-white auger/inventor Aerodrako. She's seen here perching on the home/tower of one of the few players she trusts - the dwarf Siilex. (She has to be careful who she adventures with because most adventurers would kill her just to make scale-mail armor out of her, as they do to every other drako they meet.) *grumble* Poor drakos...

Hiya! I'm still envious of your drawings on coloured paper, you got even better with each you do!
What I like most on this is the face, you managed to put a lot detail in it and made it expressing strength.

:-) Krystal Tyler replies: "Thanks for always commenting on my stuff! Makes me feel special... ^.^ For some reason, I think my drawings on colored paper look better than the ones on white paper... Maybe it's because the colored paper hides my mistakes better..."

Where is this person now? I'd like a drako body... This is really good work though, (I'm attempting a semi-serious comment) The tail curled around the roof just gives it the finishing touch.

:-) Krystal Tyler replies: "Well, close to the beginning of October, she was unfortunately killed, but thanks to a successful Divine Intervention roll, managed to survive. Right now, she has four cute little baby drakos (all of which are still hanging out in Siilex' tower). Thanks for the comment!!"

I always admire dragons. And I think your drawings just bring them to life

:-) Krystal Tyler replies: "Wow, thank you!!! 1 That's the one main thing I strive for."

A very beautiful and pensive-looking creature. Magnificent how she gleams in the moonlight. However . . .

If you killed her original body, and now she's occupying this one, then what happened to the soul of the drako? That's exceedingly cruel to even contemplate. And she's worried about what others might do to her? How hypocritical. I suppose curiosity really did kill the dragon.

At any rate, fabulous artwork.
