Heeeeere's Johnny! Or at least, the next in my 'notebook doodles' I like to do every semester. It's a wyverex, in case anyone decides to start arguing. I've only found one reference to the wyverex online, and it only said something about it being a creature of good and protection in English myth. If anyone knows any links/books that give more information about this mysterious creature, please help me out! I'd love to know more about this... Pen on (notebook) cardboard, Nov. 7, 2003

UPDATE (Jan. 2005): Added a new wyverex tribal drawing, done in December.

Then that makes two of us. I'm searching for the Wyverex myself, I'll keep you updated on anything I find but could you please send me the page you found?

The picture is magnificent, though no quite how I see the Wyverex.

Skull Bearer.

:-) Krystal Tyler replies: "The only information I found (and I've done a few more searches lately, too) was contained on multiple pages that were selling the same wyverex t-shirt (that looks awesome, by the way). I also learned that there are different kinds of wyverex, the ones I know about being "wyverex auctor" and "wyverex cipher." Don't know what the difference is, if any. Just do a Google search with "wyverex" and "shirt" and you'll probably get it. If not, lemme know and I'll go find it again and send the link. Other than the shirt(s) I've found, I've never seen another picture/description of the wyverex, so this design I based on those shirts. Plus, I've always seen wyverex with crowns around their neck (symbol of royalty, perhaps? protector of royalty?), so I put it on the head of this one. Thanks for commenting! Glad you like the picture!"

You know, this makes me want to print it out and go to my cousin, who is a tattoo artist and get one of them done. (They remind me to tattoos, and I think my favorite is the one on the right, with its wings folded.) *shrug* that is only me. They are beautiful, though I do have to agree, they do look like Wyverns. Wyverns aren't my favorite, but still, I smell a new tattoo.

:-) Krystal Tyler replies: "I like the one on the right, too. :-] They would be wyverns if they had back legs, actually. Anyway, I'm glad you like them! They were fun to do."

Wonderful designs. I wish I had more money for more tattoos...
