Okay, I know it's just a color convention, but I'm tired of seeing good vs. evil drawings where the good guy/creature/whatever is white and the bad guy/creature/whatever is black. What's the deal with that??! What makes white good and black evil? Why does color matter, anyway? Well, here's my rebuttal!

Done in markers, June 12, 2003.

I suppose white is good because white is pure and untouched while black is bad because bad things often happens in "the shadow of the light that is good" I suppose you wouldn't rape a woman in the middle of day cuz day=light=good just like the white wedding dress signifies virginity which is "a woman untouched/unspoiled" but your right it can get rather tiring...Oh boy I was just supposed to say that white is pure...man this is a complicated subject...love your dragons anyway1

But you know, white didn't originally mean good, nor black evil. They signified completeness together, male and female, passive and active, etc. and it was Western influence and Confucius that made white superior. Just clarifying. Really nice, by the way.

So great! I'm only 14, but I am doing a project on Yin Yang and I would love to use this picture if that's o.k with you. I think it captures what yin yang represents perfectly. Love it. x

what’s wrong with the white dragons mouth? does he have some sort of severe gum-desease? or is it because that’s some of the blood left over from a meal?

Not a big biblical person but, black started out as portraying evil at the beginning. "I shall walk through the valley the shadow of death and fear no evil" =\
