  | This picture started out like a random doodle, me just wanting to draw something androgynous with a tophat... but as it went, it got wings, facial tattoo, and name. So far it doesn't have a backstory and maybe it never will have, who knows? I'm sure I don't. Either way, please meet Chess Ashfield, (my personal?) angel. You can accuse me of taking inspiration in Angel Sanctuary, and I wouldn't argue. The fact that it wasn't conscious doesn't mean it couldn't happen. I enjoy Kaori Yuki's works and Mad Hatter is my absolute favourite character of hers. |
