SciFi and Fantasy Art Dragonhead by Koen Van Huynegem


	Another dragonhead I made. Don't know his name but I know I like him. First time I filled up my dragons head, normally they are empty. I hope to draw some more heads in the future, I'm trying to draw a few heads in 3-D. Made in mechanical pencil. This time no Photoshop. Maybe I redraw it sometimes, do the shadows and with sharper lines.

This one is nice but I think it would be even nicer when you don't fill it up that way but you add more shadows, finish the neck and bring some light points on it, sharp your pencil and draw some hard lines on the right places.. make it a feast for the eye! The detail is really great, i also do most of my dragons with 'empty' heads, i've only been able to fill one completely >.<, i like the big scales and its horns too, keep it up, it'd be nice to see it complete ^_^ Koen Van Huynegem replies: "I'll finnish it later, probably this summer. 5 Feb 2005	Sabina E. Horton	Loading... The motion of the scales is very nice. It doesn't really make sense to show all the scales on his head but not on his neck, though. Also, I think some shading would really help a lot. It'll be lots of work, though.

I see you are improving. well, i am only commenting on your dragons. this one has shown improvement, but im not sure you tried your best on the facial expression. try moving the eyes lower, and finish the neck scales to make it more realistic. i kno i kno, it takes forever. well the neck scales are bigger than the head. the head was tha hardest part! so get going to the neck. didnt like it THAT much. 6 and 2/5 out of 10. it was a definate improvement. Have a pleasant day!!
