I also like the lights - I still can't manage working with colours, but as I've seen several times now, YOU can. I admire you for that one...

The light you added from the crystal ball is great as well as the whole mood on the picture fits. And I like the face of the wizard, for I think it is very difficult to draw old people. and you did it very good - not only that his wrinkles came out great, I love that also his eyes look old - somehow a little bit tired of life. Kristina 'Aryana' Siers replies: "This was my first attempt to draw an old man and my first attempt on doing something with pastels, so a double experiment. I was surprised myself as I saw how he came out, and this is one of my oldies I stll like much - and one of the first four pictures I ever put up here."

But I adore his mane of grey hair and his beard, and that pointy nose. Very nice work on the candles too. Kristina 'Aryana' Siers replies: "Thanks so much! I agree, the hands could have needed more work. Since I have read Harry Potter, this mage is something like my personal view on Dumbledore, but without glasses."
